Cedar GO food safety and incident protocol.
Last updated: 26 October 2026.
This protocol sets food-safety responsibilities and incident-response steps on Cedar GO to protect customers, vendors and drivers.
Vendors are responsible for preparation, hygiene, safe packaging, prevention of cross-contact, accurate allergen information and compliance with applicable Lebanese law. Unsafe products must be stopped immediately and support notified.
Cedar GO reviews reports, suspends unsafe listings when needed, coordinates with vendors and drivers, and documents cases. Relisting is approved centrally only after verification and compliance with any official restrictions.
Food-safety incidents are reported via the app, WhatsApp, phone or email at info@cedargo.app with the order number and available evidence. Each report receives a case number.
The initial-response target is six hours during operating hours. Off-hours emergencies are handled by the local Lebanese on-call officer, with central management coordinating official reporting when required.
Actions may include canceling affected items/orders, suspending listings, requesting evidence or verification visits, notifying competent authorities where required, and refunds or replacements based on the assessment and consumer rights.
No allergen safety assurance is given without reliable data. Where uncertain, the item is canceled or a verified alternative is offered with customer consent.
Incident records are retained for the period required by law and operations, with restricted access.
