What if delivery is late?

Status first, then escalate with the order ID.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

Late delivery usually means the store is still preparing, confirmation was slow, or the delivery partner is finishing another stop. Live settings allow up to 3 concurrent orders per delivery partner.

How it works

  1. Open tracking and note the current status
  2. Message the store if status is confirmed or processing
  3. Contact Cedar GO if status is out for delivery but stalled
  4. Stay reachable for driver calls and OTP

What happens in practice

Peak times in the Zefta-area zone can stack kitchen and delivery load. Free delivery or tips do not change the physical route length. If you must leave, tell support immediately so the partner is not left waiting for OTP and COD.

Important live rules

  • Schedule order is off — there is no promised future slot to fall back on
  • OTP still required at completion when verification prompts
  • Do not pay cash to someone who cannot show they are completing your order

What to do if something goes wrong

Escalate with order ID, last status, and how long you have waited. Use WhatsApp or email for Cedar GO operations help.

Distinguish kitchen delay from road delay by reading status: processing versus out for delivery. Message the right party first. If you must leave, tell support so the partner is not stuck unable to finish OTP and COD at an empty pin.
