What are the order statuses?

How Cedar GO labels order progress.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

Order statuses tell you whether the store has accepted, whether food is being prepared, and whether a delivery partner is on the way. Exact labels in the app may vary slightly, but the live path follows a clear progression.

How it works

  • Pending / placed — order submitted successfully
  • Confirmed — store accepted the order
  • Processing / cooking — store is preparing
  • Handover / out for delivery — delivery partner is moving the order
  • Delivered — completed, often after OTP
  • Canceled — stopped by customer request or operations rules
  • Refunded — refund completed when refunds apply

What happens in practice

Push notifications fire for key steps where Firebase is configured. If status sits on pending too long, the store may not have confirmed yet. If it sits on out for delivery, the partner may be finishing another of up to three concurrent jobs.

Important live rules

  • Store confirmation is required in the live confirmation model
  • Schedule order is off — there is no separate “scheduled” waiting state for later days
  • Delivery verification can block delivered until OTP succeeds

What to do if something goes wrong

Screenshot the stuck status and contact support. Read also articles on late delivery, store rejection, and cancel or refund options.

Learn the status names so you escalate to the right team. Pending too long points at store confirmation. Out for delivery too long points at the partner path. Delivered without your OTP should be reported at once with the order ID.
