What if the store is closed or rejects my order?

Store confirmation is required - rejection stops fulfillment.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

Cedar GO uses a store confirmation model. If a restaurant or grocery store is closed, paused, or rejects the order, fulfillment does not continue as placed.

How it works

After placement, the vendor must accept. Rejection or non-confirmation leaves the order unable to move into normal preparation. You should not pay COD for an order that never left the store. Support can help confirm cancellation or refund status when needed.

What happens in practice

Sometimes only one item is unavailable and the store rejects or asks for a change. Use chat quickly if you still want the rest of the cart. Otherwise cancel and order from another open vendor in your zone.

Important live rules

  • Schedule order is off — you cannot park the order for when the store reopens
  • Guest and registered users follow the same confirmation rule
  • Refunds are active for eligible reviewed cases

What to do if something goes wrong

If the app still shows pending with no response, contact Cedar GO with the order ID and store name. Do not wait indefinitely at meal time without escalating.

Try another open vendor in the same zone rather than repeatedly pinging a closed kitchen. If the app still shows your rejected order as active, contact support so statuses and any refund path stay consistent with live refund_active settings.
