What are driver cash collection limits?
COD cash-in-hand is capped for delivery partners.
Overview
Because Cedar GO is COD-first, delivery partners hold customer cash. Live setting dm_max_cash_in_hand is 100 (USD). Overflow controls for delivery men are enabled.
How it works
As you complete deliveries, collected cash counts toward the limit. If you hit the cap, follow app prompts and settle cash with Cedar GO before taking more COD jobs that would exceed the limit.
What happens in practice
Large bills and scarce change make the limit feel tighter. Ask customers for amounts closer to the total when possible. Do not store platform COD cash as personal funds beyond settlement rules.

- Max concurrent orders 3 can increase cash per shift
What to do if something goes wrong
If the app blocks new orders for cash overflow, contact support to settle. Bring order IDs for the cash you hold.
Plan settlements around busy evenings when COD volume spikes. If customers only have large bills, you may burn through change and hit the cap sooner. Keep a simple personal log of order IDs and amounts until the official settlement confirms, then discard sensitive notes securely.
