Exact change helps - plan cash before drop-off.
Cash on Delivery works best when you can pay the checkout total cleanly. Delivery partners also manage cash-in-hand limits, so large uncleared bills can slow completion.
Before the partner arrives, check the order total (items + delivery unless free + tip). Prepare that amount. If you only have a larger bill, ask early whether the partner can provide change. Complete OTP after you agree the amount paid.
Partners may carry limited change because live dm_max_cash_in_hand is 100 (USD). If change is impossible, you may need a nearby exchange or support coordination. Do not ask the partner to accept a different unofficial total.
If payment deadlocks, call or WhatsApp Cedar GO while the partner is present. Share the order ID and the cash amounts each side can offer.
Ask a household member for change before the partner arrives when you can. If the standoff continues, support on WhatsApp can sometimes advise while both parties are present. Never hand over an unexplained extra “fee” that is not on the checkout breakdown.
