How are delivery charges calculated?

Zone/store rules plus free-delivery threshold.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

Delivery charges on Cedar GO are calculated from zone and store configuration, then shown at checkout before you confirm. They are separate from the vendor’s 10% product commission.

How it works

  • Your delivery zone and distance or store delivery rules
  • Configured minimum shipping charge (live setting: 10 USD)
  • Free delivery over order amount when enabled (threshold 60 USD)

Platform delivery-charge commission is 0%, so delivery fees are not taken as an admin delivery cut via that setting. Partners earn delivery fees per Cedar GO driver payout rules.

What happens in practice

Two nearby pins can show different fees if store rules differ. Moving your pin can change both the store list and the fee. Tips never replace the delivery charge; they are additive when you choose them.

Important live rules

  • Currency for configured amounts is USD
  • COD collects items + delivery (unless free) + tip
  • Do not invent extra fee types beyond what checkout shows

What to do if something goes wrong

If the fee looks wrong, do not place until you screenshot checkout and ask support. After placement, include the order ID when you report a mismatch.

If two stores show different fees to the same pin, that can be normal under store-level rules. Compare before you choose. Free delivery at 60 and the minimum shipping charge configuration of 10 are platform baselines—checkout remains the source of truth.
