How do drivers complete a delivery?
Status updates + COD + OTP = completed delivery.
Overview
Completion is a checklist: correct pickup, status updates, COD collection, OTP entry, and delivered confirmation in the delivery app.
How it works
- Confirm pickup from the correct store
- Follow the map to the customer pin
- Collect the full COD amount shown
- Enter delivery OTP when verification asks for it
- Finish the order so the customer sees delivered
Picture upload for delivery proof can be required depending on DM picture upload settings (currently enabled in live orientation).
What happens in practice
If OTP fails, wait with the customer while they refresh. If cash is short, do not mark delivered early. Free delivery orders still need OTP when prompted.

What to do if something goes wrong
Escalate to support with order ID before leaving a disputed drop-off. Read customer-unreachable guidance if nobody answers.
On multi-stop routes, complete one OTP and COD handoff fully before opening the next bag. Confirm the customer name or order number aloud when helpful. If picture proof is required, capture a clear image without exposing unnecessary personal documents. Mark delivered only after the app accepts the verification step.
