How does an order work?

From cart to doorstep under Cash on Delivery.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

A Cedar GO order moves from your cart to the store, then to a delivery partner, then to your door. Live settings use store confirmation, Cash on Delivery, and delivery OTP verification.

How it works

  1. Browse Food or Groceries stores in your zone and add items
  2. Confirm address, review delivery charge and tip, place the order
  3. You receive a placed or pending confirmation
  4. The store confirms the order (store confirmation model is active)
  5. The store prepares; status moves through processing or cooking as applicable
  6. A delivery partner is assigned, picks up, and starts delivery
  7. You pay Cash on Delivery at the door
  8. Delivery may require an OTP to complete
  9. You can rate the experience afterward where the app offers ratings

What happens in practice

Most delays happen waiting for store confirmation or partner assignment. Keep your phone available. Schedule order is off, so orders are for near-term fulfillment after the store accepts them.

Important live rules

  • Digital payment and wallet are off — COD only
  • Free delivery can apply when the order meets the configured amount threshold
  • Refunds are active for eligible cases handled with support

What to do if something goes wrong

If the store rejects, items are wrong, or delivery is late, open the related Help articles and contact support with the order ID. Chat with the store or admin may also be available in-app.
