How many orders can a driver carry at once?

Maximum concurrent orders: 3.

Cedar GO Help · Delivery Drivers

Overview

Live configuration sets dm_maximum_orders = 3. A delivery partner should not hold more than three active orders at once under that rule.

How it works

The assignment system uses that maximum to limit stacking. You still must keep bags separated and statuses accurate so each customer receives the correct OTP and COD total.

What happens in practice

Three stops can create late-delivery feelings for the last pin. Plan routes, call ahead when needed, and avoid accepting work you cannot finish safely. Stores appreciate clear pickup timing when you are multi-stopping.

Important live rules

  • Maximum concurrent orders: 3
  • Cash-in-hand max still applies across those orders
  • Delivery verification OTP is per order completion

What to do if something goes wrong

If the app assigns beyond what you can carry, contact support and use cancellation only as a last resort with a documented reason.

Treat the limit as a quality rule, not a challenge to beat. Three bags from different Food or Grocery stores need separate checks at pickup. If traffic in the Zefta-area zone slows you down, tell support early rather than letting the last customer wait without a call. Cash-in-hand toward the 100 USD cap also grows faster with stacked COD stops.
