COD cash moves with delivery; commission settles afterward.
With Cash on Delivery, customers pay the delivery partner at the door. Vendor product earnings settle through platform reports after the 10% admin commission rules, separate from tip money.
The platform tracks collections and store or delivery cash-in-hand controls (overflow controls are enabled). Delivery partners also face a max cash-in-hand setting of 100. Vendors should not assume every COD bill stays in the restaurant till; follow Cedar GO settlement instructions for your store.
After a successful delivery and OTP, order financials update for review. Payout timing is an operations topic—ask support for the calendar that applies to your store rather than inventing one.
For payout or reconciliation questions, contact Cedar GO with store name and order IDs. Avoid informal cash trades with drivers that bypass the platform record.
Ask for a written explanation of payout cadence during onboarding so your accounting expects the right rhythm. When reconciling, compare delivered orders after OTP against vendor earnings lines and the 10% commission rule. Flag mismatches within a few days while chat logs and COD notes still exist.
