What is included in my order total?
Items + delivery (+ tip) = what you pay on arrival.
Overview
Your COD total is the amount the delivery partner should collect. It is built from item prices after applicable discounts, delivery charge unless free delivery applies, and any tip you selected.
How it works
- Items — menu or product prices after discounts or coupons
- Delivery charge — unless free delivery threshold is met
- Tip — optional amount for the delivery partner
The vendor’s 10% admin commission is a platform–vendor settlement topic. It is not an extra line customers pay on top of menu prices.
What happens in practice
Open the checkout breakdown before placing. After placement, the same total should guide what you prepare in cash. Free delivery at or above 60 can remove the delivery line; tip can remain.
Important live rules
- Minimum shipping charge configuration starts at 10 when delivery is charged
- Digital payment and wallet are off
- Delivery-charge commission is 0%
What to do if something goes wrong
If the partner quotes a higher cash amount, show the app total and contact Cedar GO. Do not invent extra fees yourself.
Teach family members who receive the order what total to expect. Surprises at the door create failed OTP completions and support calls. If two phones show different carts, refresh and confirm you are looking at the same active order ID.
