Who prepares and delivers orders?

Vendors prepare; delivery partners deliver.

Cedar GO Help · Orders & Delivery

Overview

Cedar GO splits fulfillment into two roles. The restaurant or grocery store prepares the items. A delivery partner collects the prepared order and brings it to your address.

How it works

After you place an order, the vendor must confirm it. Preparation happens at the store. When ready, a delivery partner picks up, updates status to on the way, collects COD, and may complete OTP verification with you.

  • Vendors own menu accuracy, confirmation speed, and packing quality
  • Delivery partners own navigation, cash collection, and drop-off completion
  • Cedar GO connects the apps, zones, and support channels

What happens in practice

If food is late leaving the kitchen, that is usually a store issue. If the bag left the store but arrives late, that is usually a delivery path issue. Share clear details so support can route the problem.

Important live rules

  • Store confirmation model is required before fulfillment continues
  • Drivers may carry up to 3 concurrent orders under live settings
  • Tips go to the delivery partner; product commission is a vendor settlement topic

What to do if something goes wrong

Message the store about missing prep details, or contact Cedar GO if the partner cannot be reached. Include order ID, store name, and what stage the app shows.
